A multiplayer turn-based strategy game


Summary
Geomancer is a competitive turn-based strategy game developed over the course of seven workdays during our GameLab in NHTV Breda. The game draws and combines elements from both the turn-based strategy genre and the tactical role-playing genres. 

The key feature that sets Geomancer apart is the ability to manipulate and alter the environment by moving tiles up and down, using it to trap opponents or create new pathways. The design process took place mainly through paper prototyping, which we used to test and improve the game before it was ready in-engine. This eventually resulted in us avoiding a crunch period.
