LORDBOUND
Writing / Quest Design / Level Design
A DLC-sized expansion mod for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim
The drums of war are beating inside Druadach Valley. After two hundred years of isolation the valley has restored its severed connections to the provinces of Skyrim and High Rock, exposing its withered remains to the rest of Tamriel. Chief Gorek of Garshakur refuses to surrender his mountain fortress to the Imperial Legion, denying them control of the highly-valued trade route between the cities of Jehenna and Solitude. The Legion now wages war against the Orc faction, in hopes of reclaiming what is theirs through conquest.
Lordbound is a project I'm currently working on in my spare time, and is the continuation of the specialization project I started during my studies at NHTV Breda, where I focused on player agency in quest design. It's a DLC-sized modification for Skyrim that's currently in development by a collective of modders, game dev students and industry professionals.

My role
Within the project, I hold the role of Lead Quest Designer, cooperating with the other designers on building an interesting and believable world that fits within the established lore of The Elder Scrolls. I focus on quest creation & implementation, gameplay scripting, level design, as well as world building in collaboration with our level designers.
I've also been responsible for the promotional materials and PR-side of the project, creating trailers and taking screenshots for our updates. The following screenshots & trailers were created by me, featuring locations made by Michiel Werring, and other members of our project.

Level Design
The following are several areas I've worked on, using in-game assets and the Creation Engine to create these locations. Both areas required me to research existing locations in Skyrim to determine how different assets were used, and how to deviate from existing architecture.

Recommendations:
"I have worked for three years on Lordbound with Keano, during which he has been responsible for leading and implementing everything quest. It’s thanks to Keano and his leadership of the quest team that we have a fantastic backstory, and quests to engage the player with. During our time together, he has reliably carried his own features, delivered to spec (And frequently overdelivered), and resolved issues prematurely. On many occasions he has shown fantastic technical insight, and managed to deliver finely crafted content. Keano is a responsible developer who I would trust on any project to work with, I wholeheartedly recommend working with Keano and expect he will make a great member to your team." - Michiel Werring, Level Designer
